Newsletter – January 2022

Note from Our Founder

Greetings,

This is the first installment of our monthly newsletter.

This year has gotten off to a great start for the Confraternity and we already have many new updates we look forward to sharing with you through our newsletters.

Last year was difficult because we, as faithful Catholics, had to fight against the implementation of abortion-tainted vaccines and their mandate. This year we will continue this fight, and help others to do so. In the spirit of the message of Our Lady of Fatima, we are doing reparation every day to Jesus and Mary to combat the evil of abortion-tainted vaccines, and the entire fetal industry by continuing the St. Andrew’s novena.

Our Lady is opening up a lot of opportunities in the Philippines to spread true devotion to Our Lady. We have already distributed around 3,000 Rosaries! We have a few groups there, including a group of seminarians, who will be making their Consecration to Our Lady according to St. Louis de Montfort.

We also have a group in the United States, located in the Chicago area. If you would like to start one, let us know. We have the books to help get you started, as well as a five-week Zoom class on True Devotion that I offer.

The Consecration to Our Lady according to St. Louis de Montfort is the Reign of Mary before our eyes and it is exciting to see people give everything to Our Lady.

I look forward to keeping you all updated on the efforts of the Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima.

I pray that you and your family all have a blessed New Year.

In the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,

Christopher Wendt

Philippine Apostolate

In the Diocese of Malaybalay, 25 Seminarians began the New Year by making their Consecration to Our Lady according to St. Louis de Montfort. These seminarians went through five weeks of studying True Devotion. They learned about Our Lady from the beautiful words of St. Louis de Montfort in his book True Devotion. They made their Consecration on the first of January. Along with the blessing of this consecration, these seminarians also received a certificate for their efforts as a physical reminder of their devotion. This Consecration has been made a permanent part of the seminary formation for the diocese. Congratulations to these young men and the many others who will be able to go through this in their formation!

Our Rosary Apostolate has a Catechism class for the youth in the village of Singanglan that takes place two times per month. The class takes place at St. Catalina’s Chapel with 60 children. The children learn about the teachings of the Catholic Church through the Baltimore Catechism. They are also taught how to pray Catholic prayers. The Rosary Apostolate has sent about 2,000 rosaries to the Diocese of Malaybalay as a part of their diocesan outreach.

Holy Faith Foundation

The Holy Faith Foundation sent out $70,000 in grants to families who were fired from their jobs because of their Faith. These grants were sent out to 30 families who were in very stressful situations just before Christmas. We were blessed to receive letters from 2 families that have shared their experiences with us:

Hello,

Thank you to the Holy Faith Foundation and all of its incredibly generous donors. My family and I received the grant on the night we

brought home our third child. When we opened the envelope, I was speechless and my wife was in tears. This grant was beyond our expectations and couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. This is going to help us tremendously as we get back on our feet financially. We never thought that we’d be in this position, but it’s so beautiful to see the Church, it’s faithful, in action in helping those in need. I ask you to continue to pray for my family and I as we are surely praying for you all. Our family motto is “God always provides” and he has surely provided yet again through the Holy Faith Foundation and its donors. God bless you all!

P.S. Below is a picture of our toddlers with the newborn (crying because she was rudely awakened).

Dear Eric,

Thank you and the benefactors of the Holy Faith Foundation very much for the generous

grant of $6,000 for my family! This gift brought my wife and I to tears as we opened our

mail today, especially during a very difficult financial time. God always provides, and the more we have relied upon Him since leaving myfull-time job, the more that He continues to provide for us beyond our imagination. We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support.

We promise to remember the Holy Faith Foundation and all of its benefactors during the many Masses and Rosaries prayed by our family over the Christmas season.

We also wish to share with you that my wife just found out on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, that we are expecting our sixth child due on the Feast of the Assumption! All praise and Glory to God!

As a now Independent Development Consultant please let me know if I can be of any assistance to help promote and further the mission of the Holy Faith Foundation

May God bless you and all of your work.

We pray that God will continue to bless these courageous families who have shown so much faith in Jesus and Mary and that they remain faithful in Them in these challenging times. Thank you to all who donated, your generosity has helped these families during a very challenging time for them.

Religious Exemptions

The Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima holds the belief that abortion-tainted vaccines are gravely immoral. By becoming a member you can receive a letter, signed by Bishop Athanasius Schneider, for your Religious Exemption. These exemptions have helped tens of thousands in their personal fight against this great evil. We have been blessed to hear back from a few:

Christopher, I just wanted to share with you that my Religious Exemption was accepted!!! My prayers have been answered with the help of you and Fr. Maximilian. I have been keeping you in my prayers. Please thank Father for his help. I am saying a special Rosary today for all. May God Bless everyone involved in the Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima.

Dear Faithful of the Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima, I just want to give a heartfelt thank you, especially Bishop Schneider, for providing us with a letter to be used in our requests for religious exemptions from the COVID vaccines. I was recently granted this exemption by my employer, and I am certain that it was due in great part to Bp. Schneider’s signed letter supporting my request and the prayers of intercession of Our Lady! I may now continue working to provide for my family both physically and spiritually. I say “spiritually” because we have recently attended our first Traditional Latin Mass. It was the most beautiful thing! We are going to become permanent parishioners there now! Praise God for all the wisdom, courage, and guidance He has given me during these struggles as head of my household. He answers prayers! God bless all of you for sharing and supporting us during these troubled times. Ave Maria… Dominus tecum!

Merry Christmas! Thank you for sending my husband and I a religious exemption certificate. My husband was granted a religious exemption from his employer, DELTA Airlines. This means he does not have to pay $200 per month that would come out of his pay. He will still be required to do regular testing and it could change depending on protocol. (He has no idea what that would be). My job does not require a religious exemption. Again, thank you for doing what the Archdiocese of Atlanta will not do, (support Catholics against taking the aborted fetal cell shots) May the peace of Our Lord be with you all this Christmas and throughout the New year!

We ask that everyone prays for those who are being affected by vaccine mandates and that we can continue to fight against the fetal industry as faithful Catholics!

The Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima held a live Q&A broadcast with His Excellency Bishop Athanasius Schneider on January 13th. We asked him a few of the many questions that we received. If you missed the live broadcast, you can watch the recording on our YouTube channel. If you cannot watch the full-hour video or would like to hear his answer to a specific question, we have made shorter videos that highlight a few of the questions. Please keep Bishop Schneider in your prayers. Thank you to those who sent in questions and watched the broadcast!
