Bishop Athanasius Schneider: Yes. As I repeat objectively the Society of Pius X is not yet fully recognized by Rome because of the current extraordinary crisis of the Church. On another side, the Society, to my knowledge, offers a good priestly formation. The same as the Church did before the Vatican Council. So the answer to this concrete question of this young man is that he has to decide himself and ask God and his spiritual director which place to go. Of course, it’s a more sure, more traditional formation given by the Society of Pius X and the other, approved seminaries of the communities, which were established from Ecclesia Dei, but the concrete decision this young man has to make himself.
