How to Give

Your donations support the creation of St. Benedict House of Studies at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, training future authentically Catholic priests. Our goal is to raise $1 million for it. Your contribution will help shape the future of the Church and be an answer to the crisis that we live in now.

Endorsement from his Excellency

I encourage those of you who feel called by Jesus and Mary to hike the Kilimanjaro to make the climb and help raise the money needed to help build the St. Benedict House of Studies. A place where authentic Catholic priests will be trained in Tanzania.

I ask all of you to consider making a donation so that these so many young men will be able to study to be good traditional priests, formed in the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Faith.

About the Hike

Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro presents an inspiring adventure, beckoning trekkers to conquer Africa’s highest peak. The multi-day journey explores diverse routes like Machame and Marangu, showcasing lush rainforests and alpine meadows. Acclimatization becomes crucial as hikers gradually ascend, adapting to the thinning air.

Guides and porters play essential roles, ensuring safety and sharing mountain wisdom. Camping on the slopes fosters camaraderie among trekkers, creating a supportive community. The final ascent to Uhuru Peak demands resilience, culminating in a triumphant sunrise at 5,895 meters.

Standing atop the summit, the panoramic view of African plains bathed in morning light is a surreal reward. The descent, a reflection on conquered challenges, completes the transformative experience. Hiking Kilimanjaro transcends adventure; it’s a testament to the human spirit, leaving indelible memories and fostering a profound appreciation for Earth’s wonders.
