Start Here: The Six Apparitions of 1917

If you are new to Fatima, begin here. A month-by-month account of Our Lady’s six appearances to three shepherd children at the Cova da Iria — what she asked for, what she promised, and why the Confraternity exists to carry that request forward. Everything else on this page follows from it.

About the Confraternity

Common Questions

Three of the questions new members ask most.

What is a confraternity?

A confraternity is generally a Christian voluntary association of lay people created for the purpose of promoting special works of Christian charity or piety, and approved by the Church hierarchy.

Four things each day: wear a scapular, do a simple act of penance, pray the Rosary, and say the Prayer for the Hastening of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Then once per month, go to Confession.

The little children gave food to the poorer hungry children, did not drink water and offered up their thirst, and embraced all the suffering that came their way. It really depends on your state in life.
