Two Seminarians Ordained in Singida: Historic First for Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima

Singida, Tanzania – August 14, 2025. The Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima marked a historic milestone as two of its seminarians were ordained in the Traditional Rite at the Motherhouse of the Missionaries of the Holy Cross. The ordinations were conferred by Bishop Athanasius Schneider on the Vigil of the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and the Feast of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe.

Rev. Lance Patrick C. Enad, from the Philippines, was ordained to the Diaconate, while Rev. Fr. Alexandr Adomenas of Kazakhstan was ordained to the Priesthood.

This event is the first time the Confraternity has seen seminarians it formed and supported advance to Holy Orders. Both clerics will serve the Church with a special mission to preserve and defend the Traditional Latin Mass.

The Confraternity’s International Director described the ordinations as “a powerful witness to God’s grace and the fruit of faithful collaboration.” He also extended gratitude to donors and sponsors, emphasizing that their prayers and financial support played a vital role in preparing these men for service to the Church.

As the Catholic Church navigates challenges in modern times, the ordinations are being hailed as a sign of renewal and hope, underscoring the enduring role of prayer, sacrifice, and devotion in strengthening the sacred priesthood.
